When Everything Changes, Change Everything by Neale Donald Walsch

All quotes from Neale's book

What often happens when people are suddenly faced with really life-impacting change is that they disconnect from their soul by burrowing deep inside their story.  Your story does not live in your soul, only in your mind.

An event and your reality about that event are not the same thing.

Nothing has any meaning save the meaning you give it.

It individuates itself—and the ego is the tool with which it does this… it allows you to experience “you” as you, and not everybody and everything else.

God is the largest manifestation of a system that replicates itself in smaller and smaller versions through a process that empowers the system itself to exist and to expand.

The soul knows the actual truth, while the mind stops at the apparent truth.  Unless it does not.

Creation and re-creation of self is a three-step process: choosing, knowing, experiencing.  You cannot experience what you do not know, and cannot know what you do not choose to know.

The place from which you are looking determines what you see.

What causes events in our lives are the behaviors of our lives.  And what causes the behaviors of our lives are the beliefs of our lives.  And what causes the beliefs of our lives are the perceptions of our lives.  And what causes the perceptions of our lives are the perspectives of our lives.
