Sometimes our enemies can give the best advice.  If it's helpful, take it.



What is important to know? Value knowledge that is most useful right now.  Judge knowledge by how effective it is, not by how difficult it is to acquire.



How do you decide whether or not to do something? Ask yourself how much benefit the activity is likely to bring.



The Karmapas are Tibet's great wisdom teachers, the oldest lineage in Tibetan Buddhism, going back to the 11th century, and the first to introduce the practice of identifiable reincarnation.
